at about 3000 words i think i am done with chapter 4, which is about half as many words as the other chapters. after editing and revising it will likely be more but sometimes i do just cut out paragraphs. there are a few segments that i don't care much for but its kind of hard because again i didn't plan for this chapter its a result of me not doing good enough to communicate changing sentiments between gamby and tavros. its kind of like filler

i do actually quite like how im ending it though, its sweet. i have to come up with a chapter name following my naming scheme which is just finding song titles/lyrics that apply. literally i might have already talked about this but idgaf. sometimes i write out posts and then dont post them because i will just not be in the mood to work with html

i finally introduced the concept of trolls purring into this story. Obviously i didn't invent this concept but i like to use it because its a really fun way to nonverbally indicate that someone trusts another person. i tried to make it a whole thing where like nobody purrs around people they dont trust but i dont know how well that will be communicated. im kind of scared this whole thing is going to come across as really jumbled and also really long itll be likw an ape was smashing a keyboard for however many words straight.

i forget that tavros cant lay on his side because of his gigantosaurus horns. it kind of Changed how i had a specific thing going and thats lame. But i can't just pretend that its not a thing because i do often make a point of describing how inconvenient they must be for him.

now that chapter 4 is done for the most part i can resume work on chapter 5. There are some things i have to update but i feel more confident in the strength of their connection and not like Gamzee is just a stray that Tavros has to deal with because he feels bad
